Our Brand

Since we bought our first Wagyu bull in 2009, A Bar N Ranch has been committed to raising and delivering superior American Wagyu cattle to the Market.

A Bar N Ranch is owned and operated by Gregg Allen and Van Nichols. The Ranch began as a cow/calf operation in June 2005 to more effectively utilize land assets in north Texas. However, the objectives of the operation changed after the founders experienced their first Wagyu steak and learned of the benefits of the breed.

Since then, the A Bar N team has been focused on growing our herd and perfecting our beef on the 4,000 acres of rolling pasture in Celina and Sherman, Texas. We have worked extremely hard to achieve superior marbling by continually enhancing our genetics and feeding programs. In doing so, we have acquired the best Japanese and Angus genetics available, providing optimum marbling, tenderness, flavor and health benefits.

The way we see it, this herd is part of our family and so are our customers. It's our responsibility to make sure our cattle are getting only the best treatment - pasture raised, grain finished and never treated with growth hormones.
